COORDINARE
COORDINARE aspires to transform health by supporting the people and systems that we turn to when health needs arise. Recognising a need to support the wellbeing of their own workforce, COORDINARE decided to trial a 4DW and sought assistance from Inventium to support the leaders, teams and people through this significant change.
What we did for COORDINARE
We worked with COORDINARE’s executives, people leaders and employees to design, measure and implement a 4DW trial over six months.
Transitioning to a 4DW requires more than just good intentions. It requires leadership alignment, employee behavioural change, a change in team ways of working and an experimental mindset.
Here’s how we supported COORDINARE:
- A “pre-mortem” workshop with key stakeholders to understand the risks and opportunities, and support in designing a bespoke 4DW policy that would align with COORDINARE’s objectives and culture
- 4DW Policy Design, materials and supporting comms
- Trial design and measurement, including pre-, mid-, and post-trial surveys and reporting
- Supporting COORDINARE’s executive team via monthly mentoring sessions
- Inventium has worked with COORDINARE since 2020, equipping their people and leaders with tools to boost productivity and embrace more flexible ways of working. For this project, we designed a workbook for leaders to use with their teams to agree on new ways of working and norms to enable the 4DW at COORDINARE
The results
The 4DW trial at COORDINARE was a success, with the following results being achieved:
- Employee wellbeing increased by 14%.
- Stress reduced by 5%
- Productivity, as reported by employees and rated by supervisors, increased by 7% and 8% respectively.
77% of employees rated the trial as “Excellent” success.
At the completion of the trial, COORDINARE received board approval to continue with the initiative for another 12 months.
